If washing, drying, ironing and folding are part of what you need, say so when you book the clean and the hours are set to cover both. It works best alongside a regular visit: the machine runs while the rest of the home is cleaned, so very little of the time is spent standing over it. Your cleaner's profile shows whether they take laundry work and what they charge by the hour, and you see that rate before you confirm anything.

What the laundry part covers
Sorting by colour and fabric, loading and running the machine, drying on an airer, a line or in a dryer where you have one, then ironing and folding what comes out. Shirts, work clothes and bedding are the usual load. Delicates and anything marked hand-wash are done separately or left, depending on what you ask for. Bedding can be stripped, washed and remade in the same visit where the drying time allows. Everything is done in your home with your machine, your detergent and your settings — nothing is taken away, which is why it is part of a cleaning visit rather than a collection service.
Planning a visit that includes laundry
Drying is the constraint, not washing. A visit that starts with an empty machine and three loads to get through will not finish them all, so put the first load on before the cleaner arrives if you can. Two to three hours on top of the cleaning time is a realistic allowance for a household wash plus ironing. Tell us at booking if anything needs a particular temperature, cycle or detergent, and leave hangers out for whatever should not be folded. As with any visit, you can change or cancel free up to 24 hours before.
