Every cleaner on Twinklin is a real person with an ID we've checked. Here's exactly what that means, and what happens if a booking doesn't go the way it should.
Every cleaner on Twinklin has had their identity and their right to work in the UK checked before they're allowed to accept a booking. That's a government-issued ID and a right-to-work document, reviewed by our team — not a box the cleaner ticks themselves. You'll see an ID Verified badge on every profile that's passed.
That's what the badge means, specifically. It's not a criminal-record check, and we don't say it is.
Every review on a cleaner's profile is from someone who actually booked them — not a rating we generated or a number we started them on. Read a few before you choose someone, the same way you'd check a tradesperson.
Twinklin never leaves you paying for a clean that doesn't happen — if your cleaner cancels on any single visit, we automatically find you a replacement or refund you in full.
If your regular cleaner ever leaves your series for good, you decide what happens next — see the new price before anything changes, or cancel with no penalty, no questions asked.
You see a cleaner's rate before you book them. Nothing gets added between the price on their profile and the price at checkout — no agency fee stacked on top.
